Just got back from two shows over ten days in Europe with Pam Tillis. This is what we in the industry call “paid vacation”. We played a festival in Denmark on our second day over there, then got to goof off in Stockholm Sweden for several days. We saw the royal palace and attended a huge music and culture festival there. Oh yeah, we drank some great beer too! We traveled up to Gavle where I did a little climbing with the locals and toured the city in a kayak. Just when things were about to get boring we played another show, then headed home. Did I mention it was 73 degrees and sunny the whole time? I don't like to tour too much, but it was a perfect break from the hottest Nashville summer on record.
